Roots (opening Q1 2022) is our coworking by day and restaurant space by night, dedicated to multi-cultural discovery and empowerment. Through stories and recipes of women from all over the world, Roots utilizes its social enterprise model to create a platform for migrant women passionate about establishing a career in the hospitality sector.

General Job Opportunity Description:
AIW is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager with experience in Italy to co-manage our operations at Roots. This position will be responsible for coordinating the front of house team, managing service, and customer relations. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and have strong leadership skills. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to accurately represent the mission of Roots and uphold our company values.
Manage the front of house team including training, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to operating standards
Enforce and monitor health, safety, and sanitation standards
Supervise upkeep of guest areas
Oversee opening and closing procedures
Inventory maintenance, placing orders and monitoring stock
Closing accounts daily post-service and monitoring Point-of-Sale system
Ensure customer satisfaction through implementation and maintenance of customer service standards
Manage reviews/messages and handle guest concerns according to established guidelines
Facilitate communication with back of house to ensure streamlined experience and optimal efficiency
